I walked the aisles full
Of work and found her.
Administrators hovered,
Talking, telling her things
Of importance. She
Caught my eye but turned
Back to hear what else they
Would say. I walked on
Wanting to find her
Securely. I worried
I would lose her in the
Muddle – too many
Irrelevant elements. She
Counted on me once
More, never doubting,
But I was no confident
Finder. Too much now
Was new and unfamiliar.
I walked the aisles
No longer knowing I
Would find her again.
