[using the E-500 & Sigma 18-125mm lens]
I expect each day to find the water gone, but the snowpack must have been unusually large, and it is melting at a steady rate. Duffy is apparently getting used to it, or maybe it was just too early for him. In any case he didn’t initiate any water games.
At least not any that interested the girls:
We encountered a couple of people with a small dog. When Ginger and Duffy rushed toward them, they were sure their dog’s life was near its end so they scooped it up. The man tried to ward Ginger off with a hiking stick. Rather than threaten them further we went down into some brush.
The rest of the morning had a primordial feel to it.
