The evils of Islamism and Dhimmitude

Trencherbone is a more single-minded in his desire to expose the evils of Islamism and Traditional Islam than I am. I was in the midst of studying John Dryden and 18th Century English Literature when someone brought the Cordova Mosque situation to my attention. The opposition to my arguments smacks of Dhimmitude. It is enough for an Islamist to know that I disagree with their hallowed position. They don't need to examine my arguments. They will say, "I trust our Islamist teaching more than you, way more than you," and that is supposed to silence all argument, and it would if you are an Islamist, a traditional Muslim or a Dhimmi.

I did find his Trencherbone's Cultural Jihad link interesting. While I only skimmed a few articles, it strikes me as a useful resource: http://crombouke.blogspot.com/2010/01/everything-you-need-to-know-about-islam.html

trencherbone has left a new comment on your post "Washington Post’s Greg Sargent on the Ground Zero ...":
Busting the multiculturalist myth of diversity bringing 'cultural enrichment'.
Islamists are already trying to restrict and destroy our culture - see additional links under 'Cultural Jihad'.

Upon reflection it seems possible that someone could misunderstand this note and think I was saying Dryden lived in the 18th century. As it happens, Dryden was the only one in the 17th century I read recently. Then I moved to the 18th century. I've been reading "Eighteenth Century English Literature, Modern Essays in criticism by Clifford, English Literature in the Early Eighteenth Century by Dobree, and I've been slowly wading through Swift's Letters to Stella.
