Should Obama be investigated in regard to Logan Act violations?

Dear Sir:

I have been reading about Barack Obama’s recent activities in Iraq as described by Amir Taheri: http://www.nypost.com/seven/09152008/postopinion/opedcolumnists/obama_tried_to_stall_gis_iraq_withdrawal_129150.htm

I read a great number of articles but will just mention a few of the more applicable ones: In this one Amy Holmes broaches the subject of Obama’s having violated the Logan Act: http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=ZTQ4OTAyODkzNGQ3MTM1YzZjYWJmZWYxMTZmZTM5MmY

In this article, Andy McCarthy says in effect that yes, Obama violated the Logan act but he doesn’t think the act should be invoked during elections: http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=NWZlZjBhNDA0ODEzNWE2ZDMwMDk1MjZkMWE3NjUxZDM

However, Peter Ferrara in this article thinks the matter too serious to be ignored: http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=NWZlZjBhNDA0ODEzNWE2ZDMwMDk1MjZkMWE3NjUxZDM

I tend to agree with Ferrara. As he writes, a similar matter was considered worthy of investigation back in 1991; so my question is, is anyone investigating this matter?

I would appreciate anything you can tell me about this matter,

Sincerely,

Lawrence Helm
